Inter League Competition News |

The proposed inter league competition is now set for 31st May at STAGS venue in St Albans, starting at 10am. It is likely to last 4-5 hours.
If anybody who has not already put their name forward is interested, please let me know. Please pass details on to anybody not on the distribution list.
The squad will be two teams, one from players registered in Premier Division, the other from players registered in Divisions 1 and 2.

Proposed format:
Each league to field a first and a second team, each team to have 3 players.
The first team to consist of 3 players from their league top division, the second team to consist of 3 players from any division except the top division.
If two leagues both want to field a player who plays in both leagues, he/she must play for the league in which they have played the most matches this season.
Each 1st team will play the other three 1st teams in the format 1 v 1, 1 v 2, 2 v 1, 2 v 3, 3 v 2, 3 v 3 singles and one doubles %96 seven rubbers. Likewise the 2nd teams. That will be atotal of 42 rubbers to be played in each match %96 see below.
Each match will use 4 tables and based on an average of 20 mins per rubber should take approx. 3.5 hours.
Whichever league wins the most rubbers across both matches wins the competition.
