Premier Division leaders Water Lane A have taken 26 points from their last three matches but three successive 10-0 victories by HRC A has cut the deficit to two points. Ellenborough are a distant third. HRC B are bottom, but only three points behind next opponents Grundy Park B.
In Division 1, Water Lane B are almost assured of the title after beating nearest rivals Grundy Park C 9-1 who are now only two points ahead of Cheshunt C who moved up to third after a 9-1 victory at Pramastars A. HRC C are fourth just two points behind after drawing 5-5 with Cheshunt B who are a further two points behind, Terry Smith & Adam Lamy winning the doubles 12-10 in the fifth to deny HRC C outright victory. At the bottom, Pramastars A are five points ahead of HRC D with the two teams due to meet next.
In Division 2, St Andrews A are five points ahead of Water Lane C and again the two are due to meet in the next round of matches which will go a long way to decide who finishes on top. This season it looks like Pramastars B, currently ten points adrift, will be the strongest team in the league!

Divisional Cup News
The postponed Premier Division final was won by the Water Lane A trio of Sean Gardner, Elliot Lugg and Gary Thurston who defeated Grundy Park A 8-1. So, congratulations to: Water Lane A - Creasey Cup winners HRC C - Clifford Troll Trophy winners and Cheshunt D - MSD Trophy winners.

Handicap Cup News
Michael Hunter & John Broadbank of Cheshunt D won the deciding doubles to claim a 5-4 victory over Premier Division Cheshunt A. In the semi-final they will meet fellow Division 2 side Water Lane D, Alex Silva & Ho Yin Leung Lane again winning the deciding doubles to knock out Division 1 team, HRC C. The other semi-final will between holders Water Lane A, 7-3 victors over Cheshunt A and fellow Premier Division title chasers, HRC B (NOT HRC A as previously reported) who defeated Grundy Park C 5-0.
